Cuties!

We had gift exchange with my Dad's side of the family on Saturday. I have to say, I do have some very cute cousins..or rather 2nd cousins....or 1st cousins once removed...whatever! They're cute....whatever they are.

Some more pics....

And here's me making a fool of myself again (charades at my place)
My friends have special finger talents!
A couple friends (Tim and Paul) playing twister with my landlord's kids (Emily and Sarah)
Jo was in a Christmas play with her church this year, which we all went to see (me, Jen, Jo and Jess)
They make things big in Alberta...check out this soup can!

Done like dinner!

I can now officially say that I have survived a week consisting of 6 intense exams! And I think I passed all of them....yayyyyy! I am back in Vancouver (or rather Langley) now and I feel as though I have 2 homes. On one hand, I feel like I'm visiting but when I see old friends and family I feel back at home. But when I think of those I've become so close with already in Edmonton, I feel as though I'm away from home. Who knew they could be torn between 2 places so soon ?!

Just for something random...right now I am listening to a singer with a beautiful voice called Diana Pops. She is a home grown Canadian artist who has just released her first cd in the last year (or maybe two?). Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend her. If you get a chance...look her up, especially if you're in a mellow mood.

Anyways, I thought I should actually introduce my friends if I'm going to chat about them on here....
So this is Jen and Jo (from left to right)...I'm sure they are going to love the fact that I put this pic of them up here...haha!
And a nice pic of all of us...
How can you tell we get alot of snow? I'll take it over rain any day.
My first masterful creation since I got here...and probably the last time I make this particular item in school. It tasted awesome but I decided it is definately not a student food. #1 - it's expensive #2 - time consuming...so maybe again when I actually have money!

3 down...3 to go!

I don't think I've ever had to do 6 exams in one week before! That may sound lame..but they've all been spread out before so this is definately a new experience. The first 3 have gone ok....I think! I can't say that I aced them, but I'm pretty sure that I will be carrying on to the second semester of physio school. It's really hard to believe that I can now say that I only have 2 years left until I can practice as a physiotherapist! It's been really cool to see how God has been working in my life in the last 4 months. It's amazing what He can do, when we're out of our "comfort zone". I have to say, the only way I've made it through the last couple weeks without losing my sanity is through the help of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am starting to really appreciate the verse that says, "Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 4:6)

Well, "home time" is in.....3 days!! I'm soooo excited...but have sooo much studying left to do, so unless I somehow manage to get throught a whole semester's worth of notes for 2 courses between now and flying home...this will be it until the holidays.

Merry Christmas everyone! If I know you from Edmonton, I hope you have an awesome Christmas break! And if I know you from back home, I hope to see you soon and hopefully we can catch up!

For everyone...happy holidays and I pray that if you don't know Jesus Christ personally, that you will be able to find true peace (found only in Him) this Christmas!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16
